What Is R4?

Revolution for DS (R4DS) is a very popular, top of the line Slot 1 Flashcart for Nintendo DS and DS Lite. It is the same size as an original DS cartridge, and it's very easy to set up and use; no passme or any other devices needed, only a MicroSD which is the storage device needed. You can store commercial and homebrew DS games, homebrew applications, music, images and video and much more then play them. No more spending money on games anymore. R4 turns your DS into a complete game and media player.

Where can I get a R4 cartridge?

You won't find R4 in stores except in places like Asia, so you will have to buy them online. dealextreme and Gadget Asia are the best sites to buy them for a cheap price. You will also need a MicroSD as well, so Amazon is the cheapest for those. R4 currently isn't compatible with SDHC cards, so you will have to go for the Non SDHC cards. Make sure you choose either Kingston or Sandisk brands as they are the best ones.

Where can I download free NDS ROMS or games?

I recommend RomUlation, it's a romsite where you can download NDS, GBA, SNES, NES, PSX, Sega Saturn and many more all for free. All you got to do is register and download the games. Games over 75MB will cost points. You get 50 per day, and if you're a premium, 150 points per day. And they don't bombard you with "vote for us" ads.
